Join a Neurology Department comprised of nearly 50 faculty members; multidisciplinary programs using full range of treatment modalities to care for neurology patients; a vibrant neurology Residency program and subspecialty Fellowships. The Department includes large, outpatient state-of the-art facilities, and an established network of resources including dedicated outpatient neurology infusion center, neuropsychology; social work; physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Job Summary: Work with an experienced, highly skilled, and comprehensive team of neurological specialists in our growing adult Neuro-Immunology Division at Barrow Neurological Institute/CommonSpirit dba St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. We provide comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge care. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a high volume, diverse, and medically complex patient population; a phenomenal multidisciplinary group of highly collaborative neurologists, specialized nurses, and pharmacists. Help build a growing division in Neuro-Immunology outpatient clinical care, with occasional inpatient consultation, treating and improving the daily life of neuro-immunology patients and exceeding their expectations. Teaching responsibilities will include instruction of medical students, neurology residents, rotating Fellows, nurses and advanced practice providers. We function as a highly cohesive division with an expectation of camaraderie, teamwork, and professionalism. Academic rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor will match Applicant’s qualifications. All faculty have academic appointments with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix and Creighton University School of Medicine.
Job Specifications: Applicants must be Board Certified or Board eligible in Neurology by the ABPN and completed Fellowship training in Neuro-immunology. Ability to obtain a State of Arizona medical license at the time of employment.
