The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking applicants to fill a full-time faculty position for the Neuro-Ophthalmology service at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

The candidate will provide Neuro-Ophthalmological clinical services, conduct basic, translational, or clinical research, and develop or advance a clinically relevant research program that includes quality of care and outcomes. In addition, the candidate will provide Neuro-Ophthalmology clinical services at one or more of our multiple Bay Area clinical sites, and participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree and have a CA license or be eligible for full, unrestricted licensure by the time of hire. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology (ABO) and/or Neurology (ABPN) and have completed fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology by the time of hire. Demonstrated teaching competency as well as demonstrated success in clinical or laboratory research are essential. Candidates must have a distinguished record of excellence in clinical care, teaching and research. It is expected that successful programs will be advanced by the candidate in all these three areas.
