Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Neurology  seeks BE/BC Neurologists, one to join our growing, busy outpatient Neurology practice and one to work as a Neurohospitalist. Loan forgiveness is available.

Join our consultative practice in award-winning Saratoga Springs, a 100 % outpatient practice, as part of Saratoga Hospital's medical group. This is a collegial group with two experienced neurologists, one fellowship trained in Epilepsy and one trained in Movement Disorders. An experienced Advanced Practice Provider rounds out our team. Physicians with interest in General Neurology would be a great fit. The opportunity exists to develop special interests.

Neurohospitalist: Join a full time Advanced Practice Provider who provides in-hospital care currently, supported by Teleneurology coverage. This is a consultative service only. All in-patients are admitted to the hospitalist service. Work closely with this collegial team and specialists as well as your Neurology colleagues.

Currently, the hospital utilizes a Teleneurology service that has managed nearly 2000 patient encounters including stat/stroke, new patients and follow-ups in 2021. The ideal Neurohospitalist position would cover Monday – Friday, with evening/night and weekend coverage provided by the Teleneurology service.

Our Neurology service line is supported by exceptional ancillary services:  EEG, Echocardiography, 1.5 T MRI, 64-slice CT, Viz.ai software and more. Rehabilitation services include an array of inpatient and outpatient services, including PT, OT, speech therapy, videofluoroscopy of swallowing function, vestibular rehabilitation, and other specialty programs. Advanced imaging (including 3T MRI), lab, are offered at our ambulatory Wilton Medical Arts or Malta Medical Park location with infusion medicine and our largest outpatient Regional Therapy Center located there. Currently, EMG/NCV is offered by a community physician practice. However, this could be a practice offering, if desired.

Outpatient and Neurological subspecialists are available through our affiliate, Albany Med, an academic medical center in nearby Albany.
