Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking BC or BE Neurologists to join our team in multiple locations throughout Central Texas.  Current opportunities are available at our medical centers in Temple, Waco, and College Station, Texas.  Opportunities available are as follows: 

General Neurologist- Waco

  • Join an established outpatient neurology practice to work in the outpatient setting. No inpatient work or call is required. Monday-Friday in support of clinic business hours and patient care needs Academic involvement with Temple's residency program is available Nestled halfway between Dallas and Austin along the Brazos River, Waco is enjoying a resurgence in popularity as one of the best places to live and work.  The community is home to Baylor University and Magnolia Market (HGTV's popular Chip and Jo fame), and several Brazos Valley River attractions.

General Neurology- Temple

  • Join a large and established neurology practice working amongst a large team of neurologists. Primarily outpatient setting to practice general neurology; MS focus is a plus. Minimal inpatient responsibilities include night/weekend call rotation of 1:8 Academic site for Texas A&M medical students and ACGME accredited residency program

Neuro-hospitalist- Temple

  • Join an established neurology practice to work as a neuro-hospitalist.
  • The schedule is to be determined (may begin as weekday-only and evolve to 7 on/7 off based on volume)
  • This is a teaching service (resident coverage) comprised of a neurology resident, off-service residents and rotating medical students.
  • Temple is conveniently located in Central Texas, only one hour north of Austin and approximately two hours south of Dallas.  Temple is regarded as one of the best areas to live and work in Texas and was ranked the sixth most affordable place to live in the U.S. in 2019.

General Neurology- College Station

  • Join an established neurology practice to work in a primarily outpatient setting amongst a team of 4 neurologists.
  • An EMG skillset is desired. Monday-Friday work schedule w/call rotated 1:4
  • Hospital is located on the same campus as the clinic.
  • College Station is a beautiful community located approx. 100 miles northwest of Houston and is home to Texas A&M University.

Acute strokes are handled by a Tele-stroke team of vascular neurologists at all locations.  Teaching opportunities are available for those interested.

 Qualifications - External

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
