The Neurology Department at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding established academic Neuromuscular Neurologist to lead their Neuromuscular Section. The neuromuscular section at UT Southwestern is nationally recognized for clinical care, education and research with outstanding faculty who have a wide range of expertise including notable programs in pediatric neuromuscular disorders, myasthenia gravis, myositis, motor neuron disease and muscular dystrophies. We provide clinical care as well as neurodiagnostics (EMG/NCS, autonomic testing, neuromuscular ultrasound, skin & muscle biopsy). The section provides fellowship training for up to 3 neuromuscular fellows per year and has organized an annual national neuromuscular symposium for the past 44 years. Clinical research is supported by a team of 4 clinical research coordinators and the O’Donnell Brain Institute.
