An Indiana-based health system is seeking a general outpatient neurologist for its busy and established program in Lafayette, Indiana. This hospital-employed position boasts a very stable and supportive administration. Sub-specialized interests in epilepsy, neuromuscular neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and headache all have immediate and ready volume for the new neurologist. This is a great opportunity for a neurologist who has a passion for seeing a diverse caseload as well as program building.

The hospital offers the opportunity to teach rotating medical students. The call schedule is very light, where hospitalists take care of inpatient needs. There is stroke call in this position, but the neurologist does not need to go to the hospital to administer TPA. The hospital also provides a competitive compensation package, including great retirement benefits. St Elizabeth will be gaining a stroke certification and telestroke capabilities in the near future.
