A Large Comprehensive Stroke Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an interventional neurologist and stroke neurohospitalist to join its growing program. The hospital sees 21,388 total admissions and 32,000 emergency department visits annually. They provide adult specialty healthcare to the more than two million residents of Middle Tennessee, Southwestern Kentucky, and Northern Alabama. Also a well-respected hospital just outside of Nashville is seeking outpatient neurologists to join its growing program. 

Nashville Hospital and Position Highlights:

  • Teaching opportunity with Family Practice residents and Internal Medicine residents
  • Medical research opportunity available
  • 541 Bed Facility

Neurohospitalist Schedule:

  • 7on/14off
  • 7on/14off providing Tele-stroke remotely

Outside of Nashville Hospital Highlights:

  • 286 all private patient rooms
  • 4-bed EMU
  • Growing and expanding hospital to accommodate the expanding population
  • 3 new floors and 72 beds recently added
  • Primary Stroke Center, planning to be Thrombectomy Capable within 3 years

Outpatient Position Highlights:

  • 100% outpatient opportunity
  • M-F Schedule
  • All subspecialties would be welcome, though Epilepsy, Sleep, and Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG/EMG) would be particularly well-supported; up to 20% subspecialty volume to start
  • All beds are telemedicine capable
  • Teaching opportunity with emergency medicine residents from the University of Tennessee
  • Medical research opportunity available
