Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring Neurologists in various locations throughout central Texas!

Baylor Scott & White Health is expanding, and we are seeking BC/BE Neurologists to join our team in multiple locations in or around Austin.   Current opportunities available include the following: 

General Neurology- Austin (Oak Hill area)

• Outpatient/inpatient mix
• Join as a solo-neurologists to establish a community-based general neurology practice working alongside other specialists and PCPs at our newest medical center in Austin.
• The clinic and hospital are located on the same campus.  
• Call is rotated amongst a regional neurology call team, by phone only during the evenings.  Acute strokes are handled by a tele-stroke team of vascular neurologists.
• Experience or fellowship training is desired.
• Austin’s Oak Hill neighborhood is located in southwest Austin, only a short drive from downtown.

Movement Disorder Neurology- Austin (Round Rock)

• Outpatient/inpatient general neurology with a focus on movement disorders (60/40)
• Join an established practice and a team of 4 neurologists.
• Call is rotated amongst a regional neurology call team, by phone only during the evenings.  Acute strokes are handled by the tele-stroke team.
• Experience or fellowship training is desired.
• Round Rock is fast growing, family friendly community and suburb of Austin, located immediately north of Austin.

General Neurology- Temple

• Join a very large team of neurologists in an established academic neurology practice with an accredited residency program and medical student rotations.
• Outpatient only Monday-Friday w/inpatient call responsibilities when on call
• Call is rotated, 1:7 or 1:8 at most frequent- may be less
• Heavy academic involvement, if interested 
• Temple is located an hour north of Austin and approx. 2 hours south of Dallas.

General Neurology- Outpatient Only- Waco

• Join an established neurology clinic, as 1 of 3 neurologists in the clinic and as a part of the large team of neurologists based out of Temple.
• Monday-Friday- in support of clinic business hours and NO CALL REQUIRED.
• Academic involvement with Temple's residents and medical students is available, for those interested.
• Waco is a beautiful mid-size community located approx. 2 hrs. south of Dallas and 2 hrs. north of Austin. 

General Neurology- College Station

• Join an established practice and a team of 4 neurologists.
• Monday-Friday work schedule w/call rotated amongst the team
• Call is rotated 1:4
• Hospital is located on the same campus as the clinic.
• College Station is beautiful mid-size college community located 100 miles northwest of Houston.

Acute strokes are handled by our Tele-stroke team of Vascular Neurologists based out of Temple.  Our Temple campus is the primary teaching site for Texas A&M College of Medicine medical students and residents and soon to be Baylor College of Medicine medical students and residents.  Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Temple, was recently ranked # 2 in the nation as a Major Top Teaching Hospital by IBM Watson in 2021.  Teaching involvement is available at all locations for those who qualify and are interested.
