Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Neurologist with subspecialty training in neuromuscular medicine.  Qualified candidates must have strong clinical and electrodiagnostic skills, be board certified in neurology, and possess American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification in neuromuscular medicine.  Teaching fellows, residents and medical students is also an expectation. Interest in clinical, translational and/or basic science research and a successful track record of grant funding will be prioritized.  The predominant criteria for all appointments are a major commitment to excellence in clinical care, patient satisfaction, education, research, scholarly activity, and institutional service.

The Rush Neuromuscular Disease Clinic, and nationally accredited Electromyography Lab, offer state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of patients in a modern clinical facility with excellent support services. Fully developed multidisciplinary clinics offer patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular conditions top notch care from an excellent, collaborative team that individualizes treatment plans.
