An Academic Mississippi Department of Neurology is recruiting BE/BC Neurologists with fellowship training in epilepsy, neurocritical care, neuromuscular, and movement disorders to fulfill faculty and leadership roles in its busy program. Specifically, the program is hiring epilepsy faculty (with Epilepsy Director, Residency Program Director, and Fellowship Director titles all available), neurocritical care faculty, a Division Chief of Neurocritical Care, neuromuscular faculty, and movement disorder faculty. 

The program is seeking to strengthen current services at all levels, including inpatient video EEG monitoring, inpatient and ICU EEG interpretation with and without spectral analysis, epilepsy surgery, and the outpatient epilepsy service. For the Division Chief of Neurocritical Care, the team is looking for a neurocritical care physician with a neurology residency who has experience in academic leadership at the associate professor level but may consider assistant professor-level candidates who can demonstrate substantive leadership experience. Currently, the neurocritical care division consists of 3 assistant professors, one professor, and 8 Advanced Practice Practitioners. The vacancy is due to the previous chief taking a promotion.

Neurologists applying will join a team of experienced and dedicated neurologists and neurosurgeons and work to strengthen and advance the field of epilepsy, neurocritical care, neuromuscular neurology, and movement disorders.
