The University of Michigan Health Neuromuscular Medicine Division of the Department of Neurology seeks a new clinical-educator track faculty physician, at the clinical instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor level. Applicants must have completed residency training in neurology and a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and board eligible or board certified by the America Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM).
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established, collegial Neuromuscular Division. The successful candidate will focus on providing high-quality clinical care and education within a well-developed neuromuscular program that includes general neuromuscular disorders as well neuromuscular subspeciality clinics, including the Pranger ALS Clinic. Teaching opportunities are available within an ACGME-approved neuromuscular medicine fellowship and large neurology residency. Opportunities for research are available through the neuromuscular program translational research program (www.mneuronet.org) and the ALS Center of Excellence (https://www.umich-als.org/).
