The Department of Neurology at UCSF invites applications from exceptional clinicians for full-time faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series. Applicants must possess a medical degree and Board eligibility or certification in Neurology at the time of appointment. Experience working in an urban healthcare environment and with underserved patient populations is strongly desired. Selected candidates will become part of our Neurology Service at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG), where they will provide direct inpatient and/or outpatient care, and supervise housestaff and students. Teaching responsibilities include didactic and informal teaching on clinical rounds and in the outpatient setting. ZSFG is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of California San Francisco, and opportunities for clinical research, especially regarding systems of healthcare delivery, are also available.
