The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center is currently accepting applications for our 2022-2023 academic year.
The fellowship is centered at the Division of Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology of the University of Vermont Medical Center, the major tertiary medical center of Vermont and upstate New York. There are 11 full time, board-certified faculty that supervise fellow training. During the one year fellowship the trainee masters EEG, EMG/NC and EPs with significant exposure to epilepsy, neuro-muscular disease, Botox, intra-operative monitoring, and sleep medicine. The fellow conducts a weekly continuity clinic with epilepsy and neuromuscular patients, as well as an optional weekly Botox continuity clinic. The fellow will be eligible to take board certification exams for the ACNS, AAN, and AANEM, if desired.
All required clinical education for entry into ACGME-accredited fellowship programs must be completed in an ACGME-accredited residency program, an AOA-approved residency program , a program with ACGME International (ACGME-I ) Advanced Specialty Accreditation, or a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)-accredited or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC )-accredited residency program located in Canada.
Prior to appointment in the program, fellows must have successfully completed a program in neurology, child neurology, neurodevelopment disabilities, or psychiatry.
