WMCHealth is looking for a board-certified/eligible neurologist to join our growing department at MHRH. The candidate would be integral to the further expansion the rapidly growing inpatient and outpatient neurology services, including an evolving Teleneurology program for the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut. Helicopter and mobile ICUs are part of the current comprehensive transport services. The candidate would be involved in clinical care, teaching, research, and programmatic development at WMCHealth and NYMC. The candidate would be an integral member of the Westchester Medical Center Department of Neurology which is undergoing tremendous growth. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop clinical, research and educational expertise and build a program to focus on their subspecialty interest.

MidHudson Regional Hospital, part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, in Poughkeepsie, NY is an academic group comprised of three board certified neurologists that are based at a 200-bed community hospital located in beautiful Dutchess County, about one hour north of Westchester Medical Center. MHRH is a designated stroke center and is the only Level II trauma center between Albany and Westchester. MHRH has an excellent reputation for trauma, critical care, behavioral health and orthopedics. The hospital has modern interventional facilities and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. MHRH is located 75 miles north of New York City and 50 minutes from the Westchester Medical Center campus. Poughkeepsie is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, an area surrounded by beautiful mountains as well as the Hudson River, offering an abundance of outdoor activities for residents and visitors alike. Designated as a National Heritage Area, the valley is steeped in history, natural beauty, culture and a burgeoning food and farmer's market scene. The Hudson Valley also boasts excellent public and private schools with a vibrant higher education culture, as the home to several notable institutions such as Vassar College, Marist College, SUNY New Paltz, Bard College and the Culinary Institute of America, among others.

New York Medical College is located on a 565-acre suburban campus shared with Westchester Medical Center, 15 miles outside of the New York City limits.
