Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a clinical specialist in Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. Qualified candidates will be BC/BE Neurologists (preferably fellowship trained in behavioral neurology) or Geriatric Psychiatrists with a minimum of 1 year primary focus in evaluation and management of patients with memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease and other cognitive disorders.  This individual will join the staff of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health has locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cleveland and Lakewood, Ohio and Weston, Florida. Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health provides diagnosis and long-term management of patients with cognitive disorders, and support services for those who care for them. We deliver a patient-focused, multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders, with.  transdisciplinary collaboration. Our comprehensive research, and education programs are also integral to our mission.

The primary responsibilities of this position include diagnosing and treating individuals at all stages of cognitive decline; leading an interdisciplinary team; referring patients to studies within the Center; and supervising advance practice providers. The successful applicant will interact with other physicians and scientists who are providing clinical care, developing novel therapies, and performing innovative research for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.  The position allows for involvement in clinical trials and translational research, but research is not required.
