Assistant Professor of Neurology (Tenure-Track)

The Department of Neurology Division of Aging and Dementia at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a full-time neurologist at the Assistant Professor (tenure track) level. The candidate must have fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology/Dementia. This position will primarily support laboratory-based basic or translational research in adult neurodegenerative disease.  The applicant is expected to develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program and to interface with clinical and translational efforts at Columbia. Responsibilities will also include outpatient and inpatient clinical duties and teaching students, residents, and fellows. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are essential.

Requirement:

MD or MD/PhD

Minimum Qualifications

- Two years or more as a Postdoctoral Fellow or Scientist.in Behavioral Neurology  and Neuropsychiatry

-Board certified in Neurology

-NYS license

-Able to meet New York Presbyterian Hospital-Medical Staff Office credentialing    requirements
