Westchester Medical Health Network is looking for a board-certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in vascular neurology to join our growing department with a focus on developing a vascular neurology program at MHRH. The successful candidate should be comfortable and proficient with all aspects of cerebrovascular disorders, acute ischemic stroke, and intracerebral hemorrhage. The candidate would be integral to the further expansion our rapidly growing neuro-interventional services along with an evolving telestroke program for the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut. Helicopter and mobile ICUs are part of the current comprehensive transport services. The candidate would be involved in clinical care, teaching, research, and programmatic development at WMCHealth and NYMC.
MidHudson Regional Hospital (MHRH) located in Poughkeepsie, NY, a member of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is an academic group comprised of three board-certified neurologists that are based at a 200-bed community hospital located in beautiful Dutchess County, about one hour north of Westchester Medical Center. MHRH is a designated stroke center and is the only Level II trauma center between Albany and Westchester. MHRH has an excellent reputation for trauma, critical care, behavioral health, and orthopedics. The hospital has modern interventional facilities and state of the art diagnostic imaging.
