Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible – The Medical University of South Carolina’s Neurology program is the premier clinical leader in the state, whose program holds the only level 4 Epilepsy center in the state, a comprehensive stroke center, a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, the first established state MDA Care Center by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, an ALS Association Certified Treatment Center of Excellence, and a newly renovated outpatient Memory Care Center. 

We are seeking multiple positions in the following specialties:

• Two Neuromuscular Neurologists
• General Neurologist
• Two Cognitive and Behavioral Neurologists
• Neuropsychologist

Ideal Candidates should be

• Collaborative, innovative, and teamwork-focused candidate
• Expertise in their respective specialty
• Board certification or eligibility in General Neurology and Subspecialty certification
• Academically oriented candidate
• Special interests fully supported

Our opportunity – Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology

• Two 100% outpatient positions - inpatient coverage by Neurohospitalists
• Protected Research time, dependent on candidates experience
• Very strong, interdisciplinary specialty support
• Involvement in the teaching of medical students, neurology residents, and neurophysiology fellows
• Opportunity for involvement in Neurology clinical trial research programs with many possibilities for collaboration university wide as well as senior investigators and PIs available for mentorships
• Minimal call – typically only 1-2 nights per month
• Newly renovated outpatient clinic: Henry and Mollie Fair Memory Center

Our opportunity – Neuromuscular, Neuropsychology, General Neurology and or Headache Neurology
