Qualified candidates must have strong clinical and electrodiagnostic skills, be board certified in neurology, and possess American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification in neuromuscular medicine. Teaching fellows, residents and medical students is also an expectation. Interest in clinical, translational and/or basic science research and a successful track record of grant funding will be prioritized. The Rush Neuromuscular Disease Clinic, and nationally accredited Electromyography Lab, offer state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of patients in a modern clinical facility with excellent support services. Fully developed multidisciplinary clinics offer patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular conditions top notch care from an excellent, collaborative team that individualizes treatment plans.
