Movement Disorders Faculty for Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Department of Neurology
The Department of Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Medical School is seeking a full-time faculty member with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. Candidates must be graduates of an ACGME accredited neurology residency program and be board certified or board-eligible; have strong interests in clinical research and/or teaching. Responsibilities include primarily outpatient clinical duties dedicated to movement disorders, teaching residents and medical students, with potential for participation in clinical trials. Candidates should have a demonstrated record as a clinician with excellent patient care, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Clinical and/or research interest priorities include neuromodulation/DBS, botulinum toxin treatment for movement disorders, clinical trials and management of atypical Parkinsonism.
The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is part of Rutgers University in New Brunswick/Piscataway and is affiliated with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the primary teaching hospital for Rutgers RWJ Medical School. The Department of Neurology is an academic department with 30 full time faculty and 5 nationally recognized centers of excellence. The Division of Movement Disorders is designated an American Parkinson Disease Association Center for Advanced Research as well as an Information and Referral Center. It is the premiere academic institution for movement disorders in New Jersey.
