The Department of Neurology is growing and has openings in several areas and is actively recruiting and developing multiple clinical and translational research programs. The Department remains highly active in both clinical and basic research with nationally recognized programs in Demyelinating Disorders & Neuroimmunology, Inherited Peripheral Nerve Diseases, Neuroimaging, Neurotrauma, Stroke, Epilepsy, and Neurocritical Care. Abundant opportunities exist for collaboration with basic science departments and renewed efforts by the University to create a Translational Neuroscience Institute and MRI research center.
