The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neurology with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and have additional training in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, fellows and trainees at all levels, both in research and clinical Neurology.

Clinical responsibilities may include further development of the Penn Memory Center/Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center’s robust NIH and industry supported clinical trial program.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include participation in research and clinical evaluation of patients with cognitive/behavioral symptoms secondary to neurodegenerative conditions. Start-up support is available as appropriate for development of the research program that integrates with the existing infrastructure of a highly active Translational Research Center.
