Academic Vascular Neurologist Worcester, MA

The Department of Neurology is currently seeking an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join their team. This position includes a faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Medical School and membership in both the Neurotherapeutics Institute at UMMS and the medical staff at the UMass Memorial Medical Center, a large integrated health system. UMMS and UMMHC combine top-flight clinical care with world-class research. UMMS has numerous world-class research programs including flagship programs in RNA biology, gene expression control and gene therapy as well as a translational program supported by a Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA).

The Neurology Department is committed to integrating the outstanding academic and clinical programs through multiple activities. The system has an active neuroICU, a busy stroke service, new simulation center and an outstanding Office of Faculty Affairs offering opportunities for faculty development and promotion.
