A sophisticated, academically-affiliated hospital in Connecticut is excited to welcome a stroke neurohospitalist and a neuromuscular specialist to their highly experienced neurology team. The new neurohospitalist will handle inpatient general neurology consults and coverage of stroke alerts. Scheduling is 7on/7off rotations. Teleneurology is in place as dedicated support for this neurohospitalist team, so neurohospitalists are only responsible for calls regarding their existing patients after 6PM. A Stroke Director opportunity exists for experienced candidates. A neuromuscular specialist can walk into immediate volume and inherit a well-established neuromuscular disorders practice. This is a dedicated outpatient clinic position, with no inpatient or ED call responsibilities.
