McLaren Macomb is expanding its Epilepsy service line in Macomb County!  Join a flourishing Neuroscience team which includes general neurology, Neuro Critical Care, Neuro Interventionalists, Neurohospitalists and an Epileptologist with 13 years of clinical experience.  This 100% epilepsy position offers an excellent work/life balance with a schedule that includes a combination of both hospital and clinical work. The ideal candidate will be US board eligible/certified with Epilepsy Fellowship training and EEG reading experience.

McLaren Macomb is the regional hub for epilepsy services for McLaren and the first hospital in Macomb County to offer an epilepsy program.  McLaren Macomb is also the first in the county to benefit from an epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) for continuous monitoring in order to refine diagnoses and respond in real time to a patient's needs as a seizure occurs.  The unit consists of two private EMU rooms with planned growth for a third.

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS
McLaren Macomb is a 288-bed tertiary teaching facility located in Mount Clemens, Michigan. McLaren Macomb provides a full range of services, including cardiovascular care at the Mat Gaberty Heart Center, award winning cancer services at the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center, comprehensive orthopedic services and a state-of-the-art elective Surgery Center. The hospital is verified as a Level II Trauma Center and operates one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area. McLaren Macomb is a leader in osteopathic graduate medical education and serves as a base hospital site for medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of Medicine and Health Science. Residency programs include emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, OB/GYN, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology-facial plastic surgery and urologic surgery. Fellowship programs include cardiology, endocrinology and vascular surgery.

Mount Clemens, MI, in Southeast Michigan, boasts of a genuine downtown district as the county seat of Macomb County.
