TeleNeurology Medical Director
Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Neurology, seeks a Clinician or Clinician-Educator who will be appointed at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include overseeing day to day operations of departmental Teleneurology Program and lead efforts to improve processes, in coordination with operational and technical teams. This role requires an understanding of clinical workflows in a hospital or outpatient environment & experience in growing and expanding medical programs is a plus. Candidates should be experienced in working in a fast-paced, results driven environment and focused on providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a highly effective communicator who is comfortable collaborating with clinicians and operational administrators & leadership and/or management experience is a plus.
Qualified candidates will 1) hold an M.D. degree, 2) be board certified/eligible in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology), and 3) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Tennessee.
