What are we looking for in a Neurologist?

Great Personality and Team Player. Interest in building a practice. BE/BC in Neurology (MD); Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA. Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice. Our goal is to find a Movement Disorder Specialist with a desire to work in a collaborative, collegial, open environment.  

Our Neuroscience Institute:

We currently have 13 Neurologists, 2 Neurosurgeons, 1 Neuro-interventionist, 1 Neuropsychologists, 3 Neuro-Hospitalists and 7 Advanced Care Practitioners. We understand the serious impact that mood disorders can have on individuals and families. As a recognized center of excellence, we are now hiring a Neurologist to specialize in complicated movement disorders.

Full support staff – RN’s and MA’s within our care team. We currently have one Movement Disorder Specialist DO and one movement disorder ARNP. Weekly Neurology team meetings, case review and journal clubs. Clinical and Research opportunities available. No night-call. No inpatient work. Quick referrals can be made to the UW Medical Center network.
