UPMC Altoona is looking for a board-certified/board-eligible General Neurologist to join our growing practice in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is a multi-specialty physician group that employs over 100 physicians and 65 advance practice providers (APPs) in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT, family practice, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, pulmonology, radiology and urology.
 

About The Practice

ARHS Blair Medical Neurology practice offers an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE neurologist to join a growing team. The practice currently includes 3 neurologists and 3 APPs with plans to grow to 5 neurologists – 2 inpatient and 3 outpatient office practice physicians. Our neurology team provides general neurology, neurophysiology, electro-diagnostic medicine, stroke, neuro-ophthalmology, sleep medicine and Botox migraine treatment to residents within a six-county region.
 

About The Opportunity

Primarily an outpatient office practice, each physician sees an average of 25 patients a day. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Call schedule for the office is currently provided by the neuro-hospitalist except during neuro-hospitalist vacation weeks. Candidate must be BC/BE.
