Vice Chair of Operations in the Department of Neurology

Prisma Health, the largest not for profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a visionary and enthusiastic leader to serve as Vice Chair of Operations within the Department of Neurology.  The ideal candidate will have Associate or Professor level experience.

The position will be responsible for assisting the Departmental Chair for insuring adequate contracts and compensation, sufficient inpatient and practice focused staffing levels, design of care across the continuum, physician behavior, physician burnout, provider recruitment, communication, and financial targets. He/she will be responsible for achieving quality performance targets, ensuring patient safety, and engaging Medical Staff, then interact with relevant leadership as needed (Chair, Dyad, CCO, CMO, and Medical Directors) to support the Prisma Health Quadruple Aim – Population Health, Patient Experience, Reducing Costs, and Care Team Well-being.
