Inpatient positions in Pennsylvania: Supportive, physician-friendly administration!

A large healthcare system in Pennsylvania is growing its presence the Lebanon and York, PA. The system requires and inpatient neurohospitalist and neuro-interventional radiologist in York.

Neurohospitalist Opportunity:

• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Neurohospitalist team will be fully staffed at 4, currently have 2
• The schedule is 80% inpatient, 20% outpatient (only following-up with patients seen in hospital)
• Nurse practitioner support
• The call is 1:5 for system-wide telestroke coverage, weekend days and weeknights. Half-day off after weeknight call. Outpatient neurologists handle general neurology call.
• Weekend nights are covered by a contracted teleneurology firm

Neuro-interventional Opportunity:

• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• The team will be fully-staffed at 3 FTEs
• Hospital is seeing ~850-1000 stroke and TIA and ~400 interventional cases per year
• Support of 2 APCs
• 2 bi-planes
• Neurology-trained neurointerventional radiologist can also staff the NCCU
• Radiology-trained neurointerventional radiologist will help staff Radiology
