Adult Neurologist, general/headache/cognitive

We are seeking an adult neurologist, either a generalist or a subspecialist in either Headache or Dementia, to join the Regional Department of Neurology of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center. The position will be primarily at Maimonides Medical Center, and will involve primarily outpatient care. The position also involves teaching SUNY Downstate medical students and Neurology and Medical residents. There  is also the  opportunity for research time. Our group at Maimonides currently includes subspecialists in EMG, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, and Headache, and there is a separate group of Stroke specialists. Night and weekend call is fairly divided among the group members and does not involve stroke coverage. Salary is highly competitive.

Completion of accredited residency in Neurology
