Vascular Neurologist

Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University are seeking a full-time Vascular Neurologist to join the Department of Neurology. This position will be based out of Camden, NJ. Cooper provides the most advanced stroke care in the region, serving a large, diverse population with needs that range from common neurological conditions to the most complex. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, community outreach, student and resident education, and clinical research. Our specialists work closely with our colleagues in neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, and neuropsychology. We are the first Comprehensive Stroke Center certified by the Joint Commission in Southern New Jersey. We provide care to complex stroke patients, offering the most advanced therapies and interventions in acute stroke management.

Applicants should be board-certified in neurology. Preference will be given to those demonstrating excellence in patient care, enthusiasm for medical student and resident education, and interest in clinical or translational research. This position primarily consists of hospital and in house call, as well as outpatient Vascular Neurology clinic.  Candidates are eligible for a faculty appointment at a level commensurate with their experience and accomplishments at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University. Cooper University Health Care is the leading academic tertiary health care system and only state-designated Level 1 Trauma Center in South Jersey, with clinical experts in more than 75 specialties. Cooper University Hospital is a 635-bed facility with over 7,500 employees, a network of more than 100 medical offices, and three urgent care centers throughout the region. Cooper University Hospital is also a level-4 Epilepsy Center. The Department of Neurology has 28 providers and continues to expand.
