With a broad referral base Advocate Aurora Health covers more than 3 million lives, spanning 400 miles in Illinois and Wisconsin.  Our 3 regional tertiary hospitals are major referral hospitals in the Midwest for a number of specialties, including cancer care; cardiovascular services; heart, kidney and lung transplantation; neurosciences; orthopedics; and women’s health.  As part of the Advocate Aurora Health system, you will join our physicians in providing the highest level of neurological care.  Using the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, we have the capabilities to treat the most complex stroke cases. 

As part of our team you will: 

• Provide dedicated inpatient stroke coverage
• Participate in telestroke coverage
• Provide out patient follow up in our stroke clinic
• Work with stroke trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide cutting edge neurological care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
• Participate in cutting edge stroke related clinical trials
• Provide stroke education and teaching to rotating medical students and residents

Requirement:  All candidates must be BE/BC in general neurology with fellowship training in vascular neurology.
