Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full time Neurointerventionalist for St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center.

The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is a rapidly expanding Institute with a focus on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research. The Institute enjoys the resources of a system committed to excellence in patient quality and experience and an impressive staff of world class Neuroscience leaders.

As a Neurointerventionalist you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to patients with stroke and cerebrovascular disease in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary care team that includes vascular neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, neurohospitalisits and others

You will be part of the team that establishes care protocols, measures clinical outcomes, enhances the patient experience, and does teaching for a variety of practitioners in different care settings

 

There will be ample opportunities to participate in clinical research and engage in scholarly academic activities such as teaching and publication

 

Qualified candidates will be a neurologist and neurosurgeon with endovascular training/expertise.

Located 1 hour from New York City and 2.5 from Boston and, Fairfield County is on the southern coast of CT and is one of the top areas to live in New England and the country.
