Movement Disorders Physician

Global Neurosciences Institute is an extraordinarily innovative team of skilled neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropsychologists and researchers. We are 100% committed to delivering holistic, collaborative, patient-centered care. We cultivate true patient-doctor relationships through a deliberate and coordinated team approach to neurologic health, keeping each patient at the forefront with the goal of changing lives and transforming health care in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region and beyond.

The GNI Movement Disorders Program is expanding and looking for individuals who share our vision.  The program was established approximately ten years ago and has become a destination in the region, highlighted for comprehensive, compassionate care.  Utilizing the latest innovating medical and surgical therapies, our program partners with patients to develop individualized treatment programs to optimize their management.  This program was the first to use DUOPA in New Jersey.  As part of the movement disorder program you will work alongside both our Parkinson’s Disease/Movement Disorders Program Director as well as GNI’s functional neurosurgeon for management of Parkinson’s, Essential Tremor and Dystonias.  Along with surgical management, comprehensive medical management, utilizing gold standard as well as emerging therapies through industry partnerships, is part of the standard of care. Strong community relationships strengthen clinical resources with rehab partners certified in LSVT and PWR therapies.  The GNI movement program also places a strong emphasis on patient education and is in partnership with local and regional advocacy programs.

The program has an emphasis in managing Parkinson’s Disease but cares for the full spectrum of movement disorders including Huntington’s Disease, Dystonias, Tics, Tardive Dyskinesia, Ataxias, and Functional Movement Disorders.  If you are seeking an opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and passionate colleagues with autonomy to bring your unique interests within movement disorders to further enhance a growing practice,  the movement program at GNI may be a perfect fit.
