Academic Neurohospitalist Faculty Position, Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
ACADEMIC NEUROHOSPITALIST FACULTY POSITION, MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN- MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking Neurohospitalist faculty at the assistant or associate professor level. The candidates will join the Division of Hospital Neurology and benefit from subspecialty (more than 60 faculty) and Advanced Practitioner Provider support. The position is designed with a block schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off. Responsibilities include attending on the inpatient Neurohospitalist service at the academic medical center, providing Telestroke and inpatient neurology consults at our affiliate community hospitals. An option for night shifts also exists based on interest and can be discussed on an individual basis.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Subspecialty training in Vascular Neurology desirable
- Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
- Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers on the Neurohospitalist service
