Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking a physician or physician-scientist with a track record of research accomplishments in neurocritical care for the position of Director, Neurological-Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. Hospital employment and academic appointment at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be dependent upon the individual’s prior experience and scholarship. This candidate will serve in a senior leadership role within the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery, the BWH Program in Neuroscience, and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The candidate should have an independent research program in neurocritical care with a track record of obtaining peer-reviewed funding, mentoring, and teaching trainees, and administrative experience. To be considered, candidates must hold the M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees and be board-certified in a neurocritical care specialty area (neurology, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, other). Candidates should have strong teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
