This is a community-based group comprised of six board-certified multi-subspecialty neurologists, and two nurse practitioners based at a 400-bed community hospital located in beautiful Rockland County, about 30 minutes north of New York City.

Seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist for a full-time position.  The ideal candidate will be fellowship subspecialty trained. Epilepsy/EEG training and experience will be given the highest consideration but all subspecialties welcome.

The position is employed in a hospital system owned and operated multispecialty group, located in a pleasant welcoming suburban environment just 30 minutes north of New York City.

The position is primarily office-based and will have large built-in referral volume from day one.

Hospital coverage will be shared with the group and includes the assistance of two nurse practitioners.   There is a single hospital for coverage with approximately 300 beds including EMU beds and 5 portable EMU machines that operate at a high volume.

Candidate will join four full-time neurologists, one of whom is an epileptologist, one part-time neurologist and two nurse practitioners who also take call.  Call will be one in seven to eight nights and one in seven to eight weekends.

Hospital has a JCAHO accredited stroke center and all admissions are done by hospitalists or internists.
