A well-established health system in Washington is excited to grow its neurology service with the addition of general neurologists and neurologists with sub-specialty training. An opportunity exists for a 100% outpatient practice as well as an opportunity for an inpatient/vascular neurologist to have a 100% inpatient practice. There is also a Medical Director of Neurology opportunity (80% clinical and 20% admin).

Neuromuscular Position Highlights:

  • Will work with a group of collegial neurologists and advanced practice practitioners, including a neuromuscular nurse practitioner
  • Outpatient only - call schedule is 1:7
  • The practice consists of new patient referrals, ongoing follow-up management, and research opportunities.
  • Neuroscience Institute’s established neuromuscular practice is highly supported by the organization, which includes: EMG labs in the clinic, multidisciplinary ALS clinic model, neuroradiology with 3T MRIs, a research institute, and the ability to offer patients comprehensive care
  • Academic affiliations through the University of Washington and Washington State University medical schools are available and encouraged, and they are a partner with local ALS organizations in the community.

MS Position Highlights:

  • Will work with at thriving MS Center
  • Outpatient only - call schedule is 1:7
  • The practice consists of new patient referrals, ongoing follow-up management, and research opportunities.
  • The Neuroscience Institute’s established MS practice is highly supported by the organization, which includes: infusions centers, neuroradiology with 3T MRIs, a research institute, and the ability to offer patients comprehensive care including MS certified registered nurse, mental health, urology, PMR (rehab medicine), neuropsychology, speech/PT/OT, and more.
  • Academic affiliations through the University of Washington and Washington State University medical schools are available and encouraged, and we are a partner with are a Partner in Care with the National MS Society and a member of the Consortium of MS Centers.

General Neurology Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient only - call schedule is 1:7
  • Good mix of general neurology (100+ primary care providers within the group so strong referral base)
  • Opportunity for teaching and research

Stroke/Neurohospitalist Position Highlights:

  • Will work 7on/7off schedule
  • Round in the morning and take call for rest of day
  • Opportunity to the medical director (~25 hours a month) for neurology practice, if interested.
