The Rush Department of Neurological Sciences has a long history of excellence, and our neurology and neurosurgery programs are ranked 7th in the United States by U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025. The Rush Department of Neurological Sciences has a long history of excellence and there are wonderful opportunities to collaborate clinically with over 100 faculty spanning the neurologic subspecialties and to teach with over 40 residents and fellows. The department also boasts a strong research infrastructure allowing faculty to thrive in their research pursuits. Rush has made a commitment to significantly grow the already robust neuroscience program and footprint regionally and nationally, including with a new ambulatory building that opened earlier this year.

Rush University System for Health includes Rush University Medical Center, Rush University, Rush Copley Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital, as well as numerous outpatient care facilities. Rush University, with more than 2,500 students, is a health sciences university that comprises Rush Medical College, the College of Nursing, and the College of Health Sciences.
