Albany Medical Center is one of the “Top 100” Stroke Hospitals in the U.S., is both TJC and New York State Department of Health certified stroke center, and serves as a major referral center of upstate New York and surrounding states such as Vermont and western Massachusetts. We have a 15 bed state-of-the-art stroke unit and dedicated Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. Albany, the capital of New York, is a mid-size cosmopolitan city with small town and rural appeal offering high quality of life and easy access to New York City, Boston and Montreal.
